KFC — Restaurant in Reykjavik

It pains me to say, as a avid Kentucky Fried Chicken enjoyer, that my experience at this particular establishment was more than a bit sour. My order consisted of some basics, with fries, and a bucket, and to their credit, the process of ordering until I received my meal went by quite fast. Although it must be stated that the building is considerably open, making the space a auditory nightmare. But back to the food; As me and my compatriot endulged in our meals, I began to notice that multiple pieces of our chicken were either undercooked, overcooked, or on one occasion, genuinely rancid. And like dirty swine in the pen, we finished it all. Now, I must preface that our chicken legs had nearly shed all of their breading, leaving it flopping off the side of each piece. Overall, I was satisfied with the taste, within the contexts of fast food, but the aftermath, not so much. I woke up 3 hours early the morning after, with a horrible pain in my gut. I would later come to the conclusion that I had caught food-poisoning from the "rancid" chicken I received from this establishment. I hold fast food to quite a low standard, so I did not require KFC to blow off my pantaloons, but poisoning your customers with bad meat, I cannot stand by and move on. The serving girls were going back and forth in the hall asking people to come to the reception for the Shake refund. It didn't occur to the manager on duty to block the sale of shakes because they weren't available, instead one of the counters walks past us with our tray and even though I give her a signal when she looks back at our table she walks straight back to the counter and calls our number, I told her to bring the tray to us she comes and asks if we bought shakes we say yes and then she rudely says they don't exist and that's why she called us up and we need to come for refund. Are you joking? How about showing professionalism and courtesy and bring the tray to us and apologize for this mistake then politely ask us to come to the counter for a refund! Besides that, we also bought soda and would have had to fetch it if it wasn't for this shake. Typical...

Me and my husband cane to eat. The service was ok. But when I have asked to clean the table or the area the women at the counter said that it cannot be done because "they are busy". In my opinion the place where the customers are eating should be a priority. Because if we haven't ordered already we definitely would have left that disgusting place. Also the portion of fries wasn't even, even though we ordered the same portion size one was also double then the other the wings were very oily, we definitely not...
