Prabhu sweets is an old haunt for most people who live around Rajajinagar, Malleshwaram & Mahalakshmi area. My earliest memories was my Thatha taking me after school to get samosas, jamoon or hot kachoris twice - thrice a week. I even travelled from a far off college to this place and introduced my friends to their delectables. Unfortunately on Friday after nearly 3 years I visited this place with my mom & cousins. We bought sweets and samosas for Rs 660/-. Mom wanted to buy more sweets, so she took about 30 seconds to decide she wanted to buy, the old man who I always thought was friendly yelled at her "Bega heli, yest hotu thogotira" and there were no customers and if I could count it was about 30-40 sconds. She was taken aback by his rude behaviour. She just took more Jamoons & was upset the entire car ride back home. I was also hurt. Respecting his age, we never gave...

I was surprised visiting here because when my friend took me this shop i thought it was normal shops that make samosa and kachori. I ordered samosa masala. As samosa were sold out the shop uncle told to wait for fresh batch of hot piping samosa . By then I saw sweets, by the time the samosa was getting ready I took a bite on sweet. I think the taste was okay as the sweet tastes good when they are tried fresh. Then the samosa came, i thought it would taste like normal samosa but it gave mind blowing taste . I was overwhelmed by tasting that samosa. The key ingredient here was the green chutney. The chutney was that ingredient that reminds of the shop. I had a little chit-chating with the owner and learnt about the phases of the shop went through the decades and yet maintaining the same taste...

I had been visiting this place after seeing the YouTube and Google reviews...Had been good experience once I visited this place and then continued to visit on and on...made purchases for more than 500 every visit....had been visiting thrice in a week for Jamon, kachori and samosa chat, mixtures etc.. But my experience was very bad the old person in the shop behaved very arrogantly for just to give four use and throw cups though my bill was above 500 this made not to visit again very rude attitude...please value...
