PVR Lido Cinema — Local services in Mumbai

Went to watch Chava in this cinema today and by far it has been my least favourite experience in a PVR Cinema. It is surprising because being a newly opened multiplex outlet, I did not expect my experience to be disappointing.

Firstly, the staff at the POS terminals are not welcoming and lack the warmth while taking the order almost like a robot taking orders. A smile or even a bit of enthusiasm would have made the experience more pleasant instead of feeling like a dull transaction.

The theatre is cashless only, no cash is accepted at the counter. A multiplex should accommodate all payment preferences, not force customers into a single mode.

Most importantly, the POS machine highlighted a discount of 15% on Mastercard Credit/Debit cards on weekends. On enquiring about the same to the staff, they shrugged off the discount stating that the POS has not been updated and currently that discount programme is discontinued.

The service is on the seat only. Even if you order quick snacks like popcorn, nachos or even coffee, it will be served on your seat. I found this jarring in the sense we had to wait for 15-20 mins after being seated in the screen hall and the movie running before our snacks eventually came. It also means that the staff is constantly running around the hall while the movie is playing to deliver the snacks to the customers. This takes away from the attention to the movie as they constantly come between the screen.

Visited PVR LIDO Juhu for the first time on 21st Sept 2025 to watch "The God Father" Rerelease!

This property is easy to navigate and it is just right on the main road side.

Really impressed with the colourful entrance. Though it is a smaller in size, but the aesthetical looks stunned me. It given me dazzling bollywood look and feel!! The Lobbies from main entrance to each theatres are featuring great interiors 👍👍

This property has 3 screens. While screen 1 and 2 are compact theatres, Screen 3 is a bit bigger.

Seatings are at top most comfort with food tray attached to each seat. Each row has big legroom.

Provided Screen size is maximum with respect to Auditorium size is a big plus.

They equipment Atmos system for even these small auditorium. Only drawback in Audio during my show was there was a beep sound making noise in the background.

Projection clarity is too good.

Airconditioning was just right.

Wash rooms are well installed and maintenaned.

Free drinking water facility is good and appreciable.

F&B items prices are high as usual for a PVR cinema.

Major drawback in this entire premises is Low Mobile Network.

Overall it is a nice and different cinema experience in PVR LIDO. Be prepared to watch movie here in a compact sized Theatres. If you come with an expectation of bigger screen experience, PVR LIDO may disappoint you. Good idea to bring kids to...

Attention

*Online refund doesn't happen in 2 days but 7 to 8 working days so it's waste of time calling customer care or expecting to give any service to customer. Has they don't value customer or their time but their money, actual fact. *

PVR LEDO is not completely constructed cinema. There are power outage and water leakage all over. Badly Constructed by PVR management. PVR Staffs are taking the heat of the customer, feel pity about it. They don't say any thing negative about the facilities and doing their best to handle the situation. Some staffs are seen to be in complete stress due this issues and no support seems to be given by PVR Management. It's been said this place is cursed, nothing comes good and shut down for long time. All the fraud Babas must been called but those are all fraud to say this cinema halls is good. Our Suggestion is PVR should complete their construction work first which will be safety for all both staffs and customers. Restrooms should be bigger. And inside water leakage should be taken care by giving contract to proper contractors.

A middle size atleast 6.feets Hanuman Idol need to be kept at the entrance for bad vibes protection as there is an indeed something which is stopping everything in this cinema hall.
