We went here for a dinner and were totally impressed with the super comfortable seating arrangement, tables for big groups, lip smacking Varieties in food and beverages, most of the menu available in Jain option too! We were delighted with the excellent service. Cheers to Mr. Gouz for such an excellent service.
We had few appetizers and sizzler and we totally loved the quality of food being served here. Super delicious food and good portion size too, we found it totally worth.
We started with corn, jalapeños and cheese papad. Taking the masala papad game to next level, this is definitely something not to miss when at this place.
For the appetizers we ordered, Sizzling momos and stuffed kulcha shots! Sizzling momos, veg fried momos very well tossed with soy, garlic and onions. Served on a sizzling plate. Apt spiciness and perfect stuffing. Definitely a must try for momos lovers. Gourmet Stuffed kulcha shots, this is something that we highly recommend. Mini kulcha loaded with cheese, paneer and lots of veggies. Baked to perfection in tandoor. Overall cheesy in every bite.
We also had sizzler at this place. We tried their oriental sizzler. Portion size was commendable, served with paneer Chilli on one side, manchurian balls on other side and combination of rice and noodles in between and topped with lots of fries. Rice Noodles combo was loaded with veggies and was having apt taste.
We ended our meal with their hand churned salted caramel ice-cream, creamy as required and quantity ice cream it was. Definitely worth a try.
Overall, it was excellent experience. Definitely one the of the best options to try in Juhu if you are looking out for Pure veg restaurant or place that has lots of Jain options. We had a great time...
Read moreSaffron & Soy, pretty name and an even prettier place. This place is run by a dear friend and I know well that he serves nothing but the best from years. Have always been a fan of His food and now on this new venture I had to simply visit and experience this beautiful venue and it’s meal.
The place is small but great. Has more of a homely comfortable vibe where we can chill our family and friends. It’s a casual diner where one can be at ease rather than an ultra fine dine where one needs to be very formal. The menu is vast and has a lot of options ranging from different cuisines. It’s a vegetarians heaven as each dish is interesting and has the right amount of spices and flavours.
We started with the basic Corn & Jalapeño papad. It was pretty good. Then came the Tandoori aloo which were good. The marination was hearty and the stuffing of paneer within was wholesome. Then came the cutest burger ke Bachche and they were ideal for trying as not messy and yet tasty. In the mains we tried the Gita Babita in gravies which was a mix of Green & Red gravies with minced vegetables. It tasted fantastic. Good portion size and very flavoursome. In the end we tried the Mongolian rice. This was so so so good. Was a colourful looking dish which had rice with exotic vegetables like zucchini, broccoli, purple cabbage, corn etc with some exotic sauces n rice tossed in. Was a complete meal in itself. No other thing was needed to even pair it with. It was great by itself. Last but not the least we tried the sizzling gulab jamun with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce. Liked this variation of gulab jamun in place of brownie. It tasted really good.
Service was flawless. Pricing is pretty decent and fair. Place is neat n clean. Location is ideal. What else would one want in a great experience!!!! Worth Every...
