House of Masaba - Juhu — Local services in Mumbai

Honestly this place deserves 10 stars. I don't write many reviews, but I felt it was absolutely necessary I take the time to praise Masaba and this incredible shop in Juhu. The showroom and designs are absolutely lovely. I purchased lehengas and sarees, as well as a few indowestern options, which are extremely versatile. All the designs are good quality, unique and have a "Masaba" look to them. However, what really sets this place apart is the service. The staff and in particular the manager Kavi, was next level in my opinion. I have never seen anything like it. I was visiting from the USA, and had visited several different designer shops in Mumbai. I had some good experiences, some not so good. This Masaba shop was small, but really well equipped and bustling with several interested customers. What was astounding to me, was how Kavi managed the entire situation so seamlessly. She managed to attend to every customer and orchestrate each person trying on garments even though there was only one fitting room. She did it all so efficiently, easily and she is so friendly and respectful on top of all of it. It was masterful to witness, and I couldn't believe how much attention each of us got despite the shop being so busy. Every person who walked in walked out with something. I ended up purchasing SEVERAL things. Because of my positive experience I also wanted my husband to try their garments and also order some as gifts. Yet again I was completely blown away by Kavi's service and how she was able to help me place and ship my orders.

A few days prior to visiting Masaba I had a disappointing and very negative experience at another designer shop despite me being a repeat customer. This Masaba experience was the complete opposite and it was so refreshing to experience. I just received my final shipment and my gifts were all received by their recipients as well. I love my pieces as does everyone who received their gifts, and everything went super smoothly. This is the type of business I want to support, because of the excellent customer service. House of Masaba might be a really wonderful brand. I thought so too until recently when I experienced something that made me feel otherwise. I had at the Juhu Tara road shop had physically placed an order, paid in full promised to get my outfit by the next 2 weeks Only to realise that not only I'm not getting my outfit it was 3 weeks later I was told they will not be able to make it altogether! And since then now a month later I'm still waiting on my full refund which I keep getting told will come tomorrow, however that tomorrow never came. This is me now, a month later without an outfit and the refund without any concrete response from the team from that store. Is it just me or does every brand end up becoming like this once they reach a certain stage!

Their bank servers have been down since eternity. And there is no adequate information or response from the team at this store either. So utterly...

I bought a beautiful masaba outfit from Priti aunty at palladium store. Loved the way she attended and cared for me. Unfortunately the drycleaner spoiled it. I went to her after 2 years and she not only made the corrections which I asked for but also the ones I hadn't mentioned. Can't thank her enough for her consideration and zeal to serve...
