Overall it's a nice hall👍. Only multiplex Cinema Hall in Barrackpore area with A.C. Small seats are a problem for healthy people and tall people as well.Good picture quality is available, however the sound quality could have been much better. It is quite maintained (overall) and has enough seats. There is a Restaurant, a Shopping Mall, a Bar, and a Disco also. Four halls are there. You can do advanced Internet Booking but they ask you for a printout of your ticket which is very annoying and you can also watch 3 dimensional movies here but the 3D quality is average. The hall takes good movies. Food is also available. Before the movie starts, you can sit outside the hall but inside the building(there is A.C too and good chairs). It has securiy guards and well-maintained ticket counters. It's a mini multiplex. It can also be a free place for the couples to spend a good time if they want it to be. Hall no. 3 is the biggest and there you get Gold Seats also and it is the most comfortable in the entire multiplex but the other(normal) seats are again small for very tall or healthy people. No harassment is there usually(I never faced any atleast and never even heard of it). Tickets are of affordable cost only (medium cost).Rs.150 for Bengali movies,Rs.200 for Hindi films. The rules are strict and have to be followed. Near it, there is a parking lot which is free and you can get taxis also as there is a taxi stand too there. But you can face some problems if you book tickets online. The posters are usually updated on time.Toilets are not very clean or great and they really need to be cleaned well but still you can use them atleast. Please check the photos to understand the place well. But the food is too costly for many people, I think. And sometimes they have problem with their AC as well.Well, obviously other big and luxurious multiplexes of the City and the Country are much...
Read moreFirst of all, in this 21st century, where all other multiplexes have even m-ticket facility available for check in, (where you just need to scan the QR code on your mobile to enter the movie hall), this so called multiplex is still living in the 18th century. It still requires a mandatory printout for collecting the hard copy of the ticket. Its often a hassle to search for a cyber cafe around after parking your car in a public place, take a printout from the busy and crowded shop, take it to the ticket counter and wait at the normal ticket counter in a long queue (I think avoiding this queue is one of the prime reasons why we book tickets online, ain't it??). I mean why are the online apps charging for internet convenience fees for Jayanti then?? Where is the convenience??
There are also no designated parking space available. You have to park your car either on the Street on in a public place.
The seats are also not maintained. Leg space in Hall 1 & Hall 2 is too less. A big problem for the taller guys. The sliding system on some of the chairs doesn't work or are broken.
Only a few seats (About 15 seats) are made available for online booking in the entire hall per show. Rest all could be only booked offline. I feel this so called multiplex is still running a couple of decades slower...
Read moreOne of the worst Cinema Hall in the city with 3rd class facility and screen. There are few things which leads me to this conclusion 1)You need to take a printout of the ticket and if you don't know this beforehand then its going to cost you your movie time .Like i booked my ticket from BookMyShow and paid a extra tax of 20 rs and then sitll i have to print it whcih basically ruins the paperless system goals of BMS 2)The 3D screen is so poor that you will struggle to watch anything on it ,the brightness is too dim/low to even see the daylight scene and you will regret your decision of choosing this hall actually when any low-light/night scene comes. In terms of sound there are 4 or 5 speakers on both side of the wall but only total two of them works. 3)About the person who is in the projector room.. So i watched homecoming there and after the first credit scene i was waiting patiently for the 2nd one but in the middle he switches off the projector and replied that the film is over Another day when i was watching captain Marvel, about 5 mins of the film after the interval was played without turning the lights off. So the ticket price is on par with any inox or pvr cinema except the morning show (100rs for english movies)but the facility is just like a 3rd class single...
