Well this specific outlet which is in Gaja Goli barrackpore, used to be better than its current state. Originally the place was bigger, but it has been cut down to almost 60% of its original. Talking about the products they were ok not much variety though, also you would find some the rates higher than local general stores. I don't prefer to go shopping here regularly but I have done quiet a lot here. The new Spencer outlet in Shantibazar is better than this. If you some time to spare on a holiday you can go there, don't expect any killer deals though, travel light shop light...

It was the first AC departmental store in Barrackpore. However, that's where ends all its glory. Shopping is no longer fun in this store. It didn't grow to cope up with the growing number of consumers. It desperately needs expansion, but there's no scope for that.
