The spa is lovely, the greeting was warm and it had a nice ambiance. Whilst I was waiting I was smelling the oils and scrubs. The Chocolate scrub smells amazing it's definitely recommended, The oils, The stress less 14, Cellulite cleanse 15, Jasmine 11, Lavender 4 were the nice ones for me. The treatment room I was in (Olive) huge surprise, they were massive. It would have been nicer if they had aroma candles or oil or incense to make the room smell nice. I walked in and it smelled like someone farted in the room. Positives Place is very clean and nice relaxing ambiance Free pick up and dropped off from hotel or airport included. Give you a towel and lemon water on arrival. Give you mint tea and some biscuits after treatments and whilst waiting for drop off. Confirm your treatments while the room is being prepared. Felt very professional My treatment: I had the fruit facial first. It was relaxing. At first the masseuse was using hard pressure like she was massaging my back and not my face. I told her soft gentle pressure because it's a facial, which she should have been trained on. She apologised. It was good from then. There was steam used on my face and it was nice. However, afterward the treatment my face felt stiff and dry. The girl was rough, scrubbing my face so hard it felt uncomfortable so I told her again gentle soft pressure. I feel they skimped on the products they use and I had to ask for more face moisturizer at the ladies at the front after my whole experience because my face felt tight and so dry. Hair Creambath: After the facial I was moved to a different room for the hair cream bath. It was here the foot massage are done. There were two hairdresser style wash basins and that's where the wash was done. The products used smelt divine. The masseuse shampooed my hair and added the treatment massaging my head. Then I was moved to a chair where my head was steamed. After, I was moved to the basin again to get hair shampooed again. I was then moved back to the chair where my hair was blow dried. I would compare the experience to being at a hair salon receiving intensive moisturising treatment. But, I would say go to the hairdresser instead. At least you get softer hair and nice hairstyle after. Not here. I have frizzy thick hair and I left with my hair feeling quite dry and frizzy, not soft and moisturised. I was disappointed. It should have been to just rinse the intensive treatment off with water not shampoo again, because it defeats the purpose. The hair cream bath was the least enjoyable and I wouldn't recommend it. To compare I had a 60min head massage at my accommodation Merusaka Spa and that was heavenly. The masseuse left the hair treatment after head massage and I just rinsed it off. My hair was soft for 3 days. There's definitely room for improvement here. One, the smell in the treatment room needs to be improved. The hair cream bath wash should have been done first prior to the facial. To leave customers feeling relaxed not flustered. More moisturizer after facial so skin feels soft and plump and not dry and tight. Just rinse hair treatment not shampoo again after. Too much shampoo dries the hair and removes natural oils especially for frizzy dry hair it's not good. It's just a shame as I had high expectations as the prices are not cheap and the spa looks prestige. The spa can definitely be better and I hope...
Read moreOverall, an excelent experience for my wife, and a frustrating experience for me. I went there on the 4th March, with my wife. My wife had an absolutely amazing experience, however this was far from my own experience. My therapist seemed very careless about the treatment itself, interrupting it every couple if minutes. From the start she was loudly chewing gum, and when i asked her if she could put it a way she pretended she doesn't speak English but soon after that she threw it in the bin. During the treatment on several occasions dropped stuff on the floor, making loud noises and interrupting the treatment even more. The massage was nowhere near a relaxing experience, as it was rushed, it had no flow, pressure was never consistent, and even there was no consistency between the left side and the right side, leaving me with a dry left side, and a drenched right side. Not to mention the consistent touch of my privates. At some point I even made it obvious and covered myself again with the sheet she has just removed, but unfortunately without any positive outcome, as she carried on like nothing happen and removed the sheet. During the facial, when the face mask is supposed to dry, the therapist is supposed to give a scalp or a neck and shoulders massage, which was given to my wife, but for myself, i guess it was counted as necessary, as i ended up laying on my back without any touch for about 20 minutes, in which i actually wondered if im supposed to get up and leave as maybe my treatment was over. So, i guess i could count it as a 50% good experience, as my wife had an amazing time from an amazing therapist, however mine, was an...
Read moreDisappointing warm stone massage on 5/1/25. I pre paid & included a tip before the service based on good reviews. I paid for a 1.5hr treatment. But, the staff member attending me told me after 1hr and only doing my back, that the massage was finished and to have a shower. I had to try to explain that I had paid for 1.5hr and she hadn't completed the front massage. I had showered before attending and based on aromatherapy oil needing to be absorbed into the skin, I was surprised. I had to sit up and explain the service & so it interrupted the wholistic experience of my booking. I felt she was in training and the service was on the top floor so when I asked to speak with the manager she didn't understand & no one was nearby. I expressed my feedback to the manager & she said 'oh she doesn't understand English'. I said to the manager or whoever was at the front to make sure she still got the tip as I completely feel it is up to management to train staff. Even though the spa is clean, it is the client experience that matters!! I came away feeling bewildered by this massage. I would recommend that you ask for an experienced staff member for your services. I paid $60 AUD That would have been for a 1/2 finished service, had I not spoken up. Also, a pre foot wash wasn't done as with most massage places in Bali prior to your service. She pushed the foot bowl under the chair. I tipped the pick up driver as the car was clean & he was on time. This is why I have only given a 3 star review as I wouldn't want anyone else going...
