Balicious — Restaurant in Kuta Selatan

When you are bored with the resort food give Balicious Restaurant a try! The food is so good at Balicious Restaurant that our group ended up eating there 2 nights in a row! The 1st night we tried it on a whim and were astonished at how delicious the food is and the hospitality of the staff. Oka, our waiter, set up a fan so that we were not too hot and then sprayed bug spray on our legs so that we would not be bitten by mosquitoes - this has never happened at any other restaurant before and was most welcomed! The seafood is cooked perfectly and well seasoned. The clam appetizer is huge, beautifully presented and tasty. The seafood kabobs have a bit of spice (for me, but my friend found that it was spicy, but not overpowering). The seafood curry was perfect with an good ratio of vegetables and seafood. BALICIOUS is the best bar & restaurant in all Bali island! The food is amazing, the team is full of wonferful people, you will feel as at home with friends!! We came here two times while we were at our hotel an we asked for Satay Chiken (video added to this review!), Grill King Prawns, Tomato Soup, Chicken Curry, Sweet & Sour Beef... We dined here last night, having found it looking for seafood in the Nusa Dua area. This area is definitely NOT Nusa Dua, as one would expect, more like Kuta 25 years ago. Saying that, the food was as we expected - plentiful and very tasty. We went for the big seafood platter (and fish and satay…) and it did not disappoint. The service was friendly, not pushy and very attentive. In these days of IG, impressions etc. the “Environment” did not score so high, but we old farts don’t care about that (our daughters did, but they weren’t paying…).
