We booked this silver jewelry-making class through our villa and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our Ubud trip! The workshop itself was very clean, cozy, and comfortable. The staff (didn’t manage to catch their names) were all extremely friendly, patient, and professional.

The best part was how hands-on the whole experience was — they guided us step by step but also encouraged us to do most of the work ourselves, from shaping to polishing. Of course, they were always there to help if needed. It was such a fun and rewarding process, and in the end, we each got to bring home a beautiful handmade ring.

Trust me, come to mk2 it is worth the extra distance from central ubud. The owner is so patient and friendly, taking the time to explain everything to me and letting me do it all myself. Other places will rush you and not explain, but his English is good and he is so patient. The new building is in a very natural area with some cute shops nearby. I made a beautiful dragon ring and because I am a perfectionist I pushed him 40 minutes past closing! And then, I did not have enough cash like a fool, and he was humble and trusting to let me come back the next day with the rest + my tip for such a good experience. He sat beside me and made an extra dragon head for fun while I worked away. Skilled artist, fun solo class, good pricing, and a treasure to take home....
