We didn’t do a lot of sightseeing in Cavan, but one building caught our eyes as soon as we drove past and a couple of days later we decided to stop and have a look inside: Cavan cathedral, or the Cathedral of Saint Patrick and Saint Felim, lies in Cavan and is hard to miss.

It’s a beautiful sight which drew me and my friends in. Stairs lead up to it and the inside is truly worth a look. Inside are 18 beautiful marble columns, which were made in Carara, Northern Italy, and a complete set of Harvey S. Clarke stained...
