The Imperial Bar & Nightclub — Restaurant in Cavan

Just home from a fabulous meal in the Imperial. Its our second time here in the last few months both times where so good!!! The lady manager is fantastic the first time the place was packed, we left & she came out after us & brought us back in saying she has a table for us. Myself and two others were walking down Cavan town and happened to spot the lunch menu outside of the Imperial, upon reading the menu we were harassed and coerced by a member of staff into the bar. As we were quite young and shy, we obliged and entered without resistance. We felt intimidated and belittled. The food was overpriced, and the portions were ridiculously minuscule. Was here in Cavan with my family to visit our ancestral home ( Mulligans of Drung ) and to do some fly fishing on some beautiful stretches of the Analee river . This place was recommended by the owners of the cute place we rented . I have to say that the Imperial is an excellent Pub /Bar /Club . The place was packed yet our food and service was perfect ! We all loved this place and the people who run it and the whole staff are so fantastic! I wish we had a place like this in Toronto , Canada . Top marks to you all ,...
