Antique Fair Arezzo — Local services in Arezzo

Every first Sunday of the month. If you’re lucky enough to be anywhere near Arezzo you HAVE TO GO!!! It’s amazing!

Don’t expect the stalls to be cheap, this is an antique fair, not a flea market.

It’s amazing, and it takes over a huge area of the city, it’s perfect for wandering around, take the day to do the market, don’t rush it.

The fashion of some of the people there was amazing! People were friendly and you’ll find all sorts of treasure, but thats Arezzo all over, it’s so friendly.

The only thing you’ll regret? You didn’t bring a bigger van or more money.

It gets incredibly busy, and it isn’t the easiest to navigate with a pram, but it’s worth it.

Some vendors open at 7, but for others, you may have to wait another hour or two. Take advantage of this time to secure the perfect parking spot, then enjoy a nice coffee break before travelers descend upon the town square! Bring a cart or wagon to help carry your goods up and down the cobbled terrain - your back will thank you. Restaurants are available for al fresco and indoor dining, with many pet friendly facilities too. Prices for everything range from high-low, so bring plenty of cash as not all vendors accept...

Purtroppo questa fiera negli ultimi anni ha perduto il fascino di un tempo. Molti venditori ricaricano i prezzi del 200% a dire poco, senza sapere poi la reale provenienza degli oggetti e se sono originali o meno. I venditori si approfittano del fatto che la fiera antiquaria è la più antica d'Italia, io aggiungerei anche la più "furbetta". Molti di questi venditori rovinano la categoria degli antiquari, tra l'altro diversi di loro sono anche dei cafoni con i clienti, peccato per loro che poi se ne vanno a casa quasi sempre a bocca asciutta, perché non sanno trattare con le persone. Cari venditori della domenica (anzi del sabato e domenica), siate un po' più onesti soprattutto con i clienti stranieri (che sono quelli più fregati, (BE CAREFUL!) e forse la sera qualche soldino in più entrerà nel vostro portafoglio e la fiera di Arezzo tornerà ad essere interessante. Disappunto anche per molti banchi che hanno oggetti di riuso, sminuendo tale fiera, che se non sbaglio si definisce "antiquaria".
