Amazing fine dining experience in Arezzo. I wanted to splurge and bring my wife to fancy restaurant in Italy in a beautiful ambiance and this place was astounding and surpassed all expectations.

We are here late and the piazza looked so beautiful In The evening. We chose to eat outside and were lucky enough to sit right outside over looking the piazza. You can feel breeze where we sat. The service here was Impeccable. TBH I am surprised the piazza in Arezzo was not more crowded compared to for example Sienna. We chose 1 appetizer, 1 primi, 1 Main and 2 desserts and they were perfectly willing not only to accomodate our wishes, but they split the primi and the main in two plates sow e didn’t need to share. The antipasti platter is a MUST TRY here. It was huge and had so many local delicacies. You can taste the effort to truly offer you the best that they can offer locally. 1 is enough to share. The pasta was good, I never can resist to choose a truffel pasta in the summer. But I have to accept that in tuscany the Truffles smell and taste is not as strong this year. The Maine course we chose the pork dish. It’s definitely not a traditional Italian dish, but it was very tasty. The desserts is something they work really hard at and there are so many great choices. Nothing simple, but all beautifully presented and a perfect end to an amazing meal. Frankly the price in the end surprised us the most. Extremely great value considering the ambiance, location, service and the quality of the food.

One of the best meals from our trip. And I can highly recommend this...

5/5!

In my scoring method, well above and beyond what I expected. Great menu with daily special creations, well presented, beautifully cooked with exemplary service.

We had the octopus for Entree. They shared a portion between 2 plates for us. It was tender, char cooked, with a basil coulis and oven baked tomatoes and very finely shredded red cabbage ( I think). I love octopus and this is our 4th experience this holiday, and it was the best. Tender, tasty, presentation and visual, textural and taste excellent! It was not gelatinous like Spain, certainly not Chewy gritty or stringy. It was perfect!

Following that, Arlene had the lobster pasta. The pasta was cooked in a lobster broth and cooked perfectly, home made of course. Lobster was full of flavour and again perfectly cooked and seasoned. The dish was light, flavourful and “amazing”- sorry Kenalee Vass I can’t say it another way😎

I had the pigeon. Go figure. It was cooked 3 ways and each way was unique, tasty, full of flavour and wonderfull. The breast was red in the middle and has a terrific gamey flavour, strong but not overpowering. The leg meat was shredded and then deep fried as a ball- like stuffing. Again it was tasty with crunchy textures and really meaty. Yum! Lastly there was a pate of pigeon in a cone. It was really really good. Earthy, creamy and bursting with liver flavours. It pairs so well with the breast and baked tomato. Also there was red picked onion that contrasted the rich flavour of the pigeon so very well. I wish I could record taste, texture as well...

During a day trip to Arrezo, we came by this restaurant among several under the portico of the main square. My wife liked the fact that a lady was making pasta right among the outdoor tables and so we ate there. We were surprised by the quality of food we had there so much that we went back two more days even though we were staying an hour away.

Dishes are small but they are priced somewhat low; so we ordered three dishes each time and still our bill was always under $70. Just about anything we ordered was of very high quality and the service was outstanding. Andre and Marco were in particular attentive and friendly. My wife is extremely picky with food and post nearly a month of travel in Italy and Austria continues to mention this restaurant.

The town does not have the draw of Assisi or Preugia or Cortona, but it is charming and this restaurant in the main square was just busy enough for the businesses to thrive but also quiet and relaxing enough to make a lasting impression. The large array of seats in the sunny square, in the shade under the portico and inside the restaurant made this place even...

You need to eat here, it will not disappoint! Welcoming from the start, no issue that I was a single diner despite this being antiques market day, and exemplary service. The pasta dish I ordered from the full menu was a delight and all the little extra dishes that came throughout the meal made this a wonderful experience. I was aiming to be more adventurous and NOT order tiramisu, but I caved in. I am so glad I changed my mind as I was transported to tiramisu heaven!! The whole experience yesterday will live long in the memory and on the palate, and is right up there as one of my best meals ever. :-) P.S. It was also great value for money.

Another great Lunch at this lovely Restaurant today as we were visiting the Christmas Market. Staff very friendly & we received excellent service throughout. A shared antipasti of meats crostini and cheeses which was really tasty followed by Peposa with polenta which was delicious & my husband had the Pork which was also good followed by the famous Tiramisu Ball - fabulous. As ever fresh homemade bread, amuse buche of tomato & basil & biscuits dipped in chocolate with coffee. A couple of glasses of house red and rose & white wine. A great Lunch. Later in the early evening we returned for Aperitivi too.
