Blu Istambul — Local services in Milan

Our flight was delayed, so we waited until we were in Milan, rather than eat airport or plane food. This was one of the few places that was open at midnight. Do not be deceived that this is just a kebab shop with cheap food. They have a pizza oven and the pizza base is thin and crispy. 7 euros for a pizza and 2 euros for a can of coke. Delicious, freshly made pizza and plentiful toppings. Service was fantastic - the guys really took pride in laying the table for us and serving the food. We had the 4 cheese and the salad verde pizzas - would recommend. Not very touristy, but where locals were eating. Ambience was obviously of a kebab shop, but the food was 5*. Potete solo immaginare la gioia che pervase il mio cuore quando ebbi finalmente la prima polluzione notturna: in una tiepida notte d’ottobre mi cosparsi di salsa bianca. Dopo anni di dieta vegetariana a sola base di pomodoro e mozzarella - anni che ricordo con estremo dolore poiché bullizzata con l’infamante nomignolo di Margherita - decisi di eguagliare la forma fisica dei miei compagni di scuola, e per farlo integrai la mia alimentazione con della carne: fu così che mi ricoprii tutta di kebabo. Raggiunta la matura età, la sera del 12 Ottobre 2023, venni brutalmente ingurgitata dal mio alter ego umano Giovanni. Questo il mio testamento, che dettai motto dopo motto alla mia segretaria Petruška. Came across this place by chance en route to an event – and I wasn't disappointed. I had the falafel wrap meal, which included the mentioned with chips and a drink of choice [I opted for the San Pellegrino Chinò]. Really enjoyed the meal: the chips weren't oily, the falafel was soft, and the wrap overall had flavour. Very pleasant service too. Next time I'm in Milan, I know where to stop by for a...
