Generali Tower — Attraction in Milan

The structure is concrete and composite. A central core acts as main horizontal stiffening and resisting element. Foundations are of mixed raft and piles type, where the piles are used as settlement reduction devices. The base raft is a 2,5 m thick concrete slab, resting on 64 piles arranged in clusters and points under the main load points. In order to resis the main torsional effects due to the warped column arrangement, the core lintels above main doors feature composite solutions with a mixed use of steel elements, rebar and concrete. Due to the specific form-dependent deformation effects, a highly sophisticated stage analysis both for construction and long term effects has been effected. A steel, free form podium for commercial use surrounds the base of the building.

Innanzitutto non la chiamerei Torre Generali come lo Sponsor, trovo più giusto riconoscerle il nome di battesimo della 'mamma', ovvero Torre HADID , dall'ArchiStar Iraniana Zaha Hadid appunto. Personalmente sono un grande appassionato ed estimatore di grattacieli , sottolineo particolarmente esterofilo , eppure trovo quest'opera davvero bellissima e suggestiva , abito a 2 passi e non mi stanco di ammirarla a spasso col cane al tramonto , ti accorgi che è davvero grande solo quando ti ci trovi completamente ai suoi piedi .... finchè sei nei paraggi sembra talmente aggraziata che quasi diresti solo un grandissimo palazzo ! impossibile poi non fare il paragone con le altre 2 torri a poche manciate di metri , il Curvo di Libeskind, unica cosa su cui Berlusconi mi abbia mai trovato d'accordo cioè che sia orribile lasciando perdere la sua metafora volgare com'era lui , ( ovvero che rappresenta l'impotenza maschile ), ed il dritto di Isozaki un parallelepipedo che io col diploma da geometra avrei potuto disegnare Sotto la Torre Hadid la fermata del Metrò Lilla di City Life , anche questa costruita in tempi record per l'expò15 (anche se leggiamo inaugurata da Sala) Altra info 'chicca' rarissima frutto delle mie pazienti ricerche riguarda la carriera che rende HADID l'unica vera Lady ArchiStar : unicA a cui sia stato riconosciuto un Pritzker Prize ! ma non è quasta la mia ricerca , questo lo trovate anche voi, il Pritzker è stato istituito per volere dell'unica persona transgender al mondo BIllioner Jennifer Pritzker erede dell'impero alberghiero Parck Hyatt. Detto ciò oltre che la torre Hadid e le sue brutte sorelline ne vale la pena di fare una bella passeggiate nel bellissimo parco di citylife che sorge sull'enorme area dell'ex fiera campionaria, il secondo progetto di riqualificazione urbanistica milanese più importante degli ultimi 40 anni , dopo garibaldi repubblica. il citylife shopping district , che hanno apposta non chiamato banalmente shopping center , è un raffinato alternarsi fra aree ristoro che propongono nomi celebri come gastronomia Peck, gelati pasticceria Venchi , RoadHouse, Poke,Illy, CaliforniaBakery, e tanti altri meno famosi, tutti con posti a sedere e prese usb, Cinema multi sala spettacolare, ristoranti etnici ( un pò cari ) NO supermarket, parking sotterraneo, a must x chiunque...
