There’s a reason this place has earned a Michelin star. From the moment you step inside, you’re treated to exceptional service. During our meal, so many servers attended to us that we felt like celebrities.

I’ve dined at many Michelin-starred restaurants, and only a handful have truly left me mesmerized—this was one of them. We opted for the tasting menu, and while the food was outstanding, my only real complaint was the pacing. The experience lasted about three and a half hours, and although I understand the importance of savoring each dish, the gaps between courses felt a little too long.

That said, everything else was phenomenal. The sushi was exquisite—silky, fresh, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Honestly, it was so good I wished the plates arrived faster. The portions were small, as expected, but surprisingly filling.

I also appreciated the thoughtful service. At one point, we considered ordering more, but the staff gently advised us to wait until the end, which turned out to be excellent advice.

Overall, it’s easy to see why this restaurant was awarded a Michelin star. The food, service, and experience all lived up to the reputation. I’ll definitely return the next time...

I would like to commend the entire experience.

The welcome upon arrival, the ambiance, the punctuality... Everything was excellent. I would especially like to highlight Mr. Matteo, who was our main host and truly elevated the whole experience – and this in an environment where you already expect and receive the best.

When I recommend the restaurant to friends and acquaintances, I will advise them to specifically ask for Mr. Matteo.

The food was outstanding – innovative, interesting, and with a consistently fresh and vibrant taste.

The only aspect where, in my opinion, there is still room to reach an even higher level is the wine pairing. All the wines offered were good – and I’ll be looking for them on other occasions – but I missed the feeling of a truly curated pairing with the food, which I have experienced elsewhere.

This is, of course, a subjective observation, but because the overall experience was so exceptional, I’m simply pointing out the one area where I see potential for enhancement.

Would I recommend the...

I've had one of the most enchanted evenings of all.

The interior design is very elegant, with a nice contrast between the brick walls and the shiny ceiling. Lighting is just perfect, with a perfect balance to feel warm and away from foreign eyes, a sense of intimacy that is certainly uncommon in most restaurants.

We had sushi, not an uncommon choice given how much we like it. It was just delicious and incredibly well served in gorgeous compositions. The rice was superbly cooked and the fish was fresh, tasty and abundant. There's an ample choice of wines, very special ones for those who can appreciate shelling half a year average salary for a bottle, as well as reasonably priced exceptions for those who simply appreciate a glass we opted for a Chardonnay from the Etna, a very aromatic choice with some touches of butter and wood).

The service is at the same level as everything else, if not even better. We've been served by very kind and professional people and it was the cherry on the cake for a no less than...

The service here is amazing. The food was a great mix of Classical Japanese and Italian elements thrown in. We ordered the tasting menu which was great. The portions were perfect and we finished full but not too much. Every single dish was interesting and delicious. The baked oysters with sauce were a great start. The squid with quail was a really interesting plate with very odd textures. The nigiris were all great as well. The cold noodles with caviar were very refreshing which was nice because it was really hot outside. The baked egg was super interesting and perfectly runny. I wouldn’t order the Wagyu add on unless you really love that, I felt it wasn’t as good as the other plates. Lastly the desserts were both delicious and the little tasting dessert they bring at the end was magnificent. The peanut looking one was super interesting. I would recommend this to anyone that likes Japanese food.

Magnificent experience. Right from the start we recevied a warm welcome and escorted to the table (normal so far). The restaurant is actually quite large, but the way the decor is set makes it look a little smaller and intimate. We got the 9 course degustazione, with wagyu and paired wine. Each course was immaculate and great presentation. Almost each plate had a twist of italian products (ie. Stracciatella or mushrooms). The maguro with stracciatella was unreal, could have eaten that the whole night. Regardless, each plate was fantastic. I was not able to really gather a story from the degustazione if i really have to find a minor detail. Pairing was also good with some interesting finds like the only producer of sake in italy! Staff were also super friendly and clearly passionate about the restaurant and their job. Can't wait to come back!
