Stalingrado — Restaurant in Milan

Historic pub in Milan, I have been going there for 30 years but things seem to have not changed and perhaps this is the biggest problem, at my age. The clientele is quite young and numerous, both outside and inside the restaurant, as always. Food is normal for a pub, but it doesn't do anything more. The same goes for beers, limited choice and few renewal. The staff, apart the younger, always leave a little perplexed. Music is not heard, surely it is not the protagonist, and there is never live music (they have the space). It is possible to stay outside in the warm months. There is a tavern downstairs, nice, but it is always unused (live music here?). Premetto che sono venuta due sole volte in questo locale. La prima volta ho ordinato una Coca zero e un piatto di nachos, che non erano di buonissima di qualità, ma tutto sommato, niente di cui lamentarmi. Il problema si è posto la seconda volta in cui sono venuta. Ho ordinato una pale ale piccola (non prendo spesso da bere la birra). Avevo già bevuto un paio di sorsi della birra, che mi è stata portata media, sbagliando da parte del personale e quando mi è stato chiesto di pagare mi sono resa conto del loro errore. Ho chiesto, dopo aver pagato, dato che avevo chiesto una birra piccola, se potessi fare il cambio, anche perché avevo bevuto solo un paio di sorsi, e la cameriera è stata molto gentile e disponibile. Il problema è che poco dopo è uscito il proprietario che mi ha accusato di volerlo fregare, con un tono a dir poco aggressivo. Ripeto, non sono una cliente abituale e insinuare delle cose sulla mia persona è a dir poco imbarazzante. Non si è fermato neanche quando gli ho detto che per me non c’era nessun problema se voleva togliere dalla birra piccola i sorsi che avevo già bevuto e ha continuato ad accusare me ed i miei amici con fare aggressivo e dicendo che mi ero comportata male. Fatto sta che non ho più toccato la birra piccola, ovviamente pagata, gliel’ho riportata in cassa intatta e stasera questo locale ha perso dei clienti. Mi dispiace per i dipendenti di questa persona maleducata...

Pretty good meat-based dishes. Not a place I'd suggest in a personal top 10, but if definitely suggest it to people looking for at restaurant in the area. The toilets are ancient.

Non male i piatti di carne. Non è un luogo che consiglierei in una top 10 personale, ma lo consiglierei senza dubbio a chi cerca per un ristorante in quest'area. I bagni...
