Old dying dinosaur, there's Amazon for almost all your needs from an electronic big store. Not to mention that the staff's knowledge is often limited to "where's that thing that I need".. because the answer usually is "we don't have that (or: we have kind of what you need but is not the right brand/model and 9 out of 10 is overpriced). I think it's not that hard to believe that user interaction on places like Amazon is waaay more reliable than asking the sub-educated employee that I always seem to encounter when I go to electronics megastores. In fact that's more of a general situations, but there's that, and this kind of store is useful just for whoever doesn't know what the interwebs is. It gets better (about knowledge) with specific brands that have an internal sell point (usually apple or generally speaking phone brands/carriers), but they're the modern evil anyway, aren't...
Read moreOne of the worst shopping experiences I ever had. Super sleazy salesman working there sold us a used phone pretending it was new. He had no idea about anything electronic, yet pretended to know it all. Can't remember his name, but he was from Lecce. He insisted on putting on a screen protector, even though I refused several times. It is obvious now he did this so we could not return the phone. Then after putting it on, he said there are scratches on the phone. To "make things right" he offered to give us a free anti-virus software, which I once again told him i did not want, but he gave it anyway. It was clear that the phone was discounted because it was a broken open item and he added all those "freebies" to jack up the price. Absolutely disgusting behavior as indicated by other reviewers. Wish i read these reviews before going there. Avoid this location...
Read moreHave visited here several times. There are never staff available on the floor to help with technical questions regarding products, they are always busy. The larger items such as tvs and electric scooters are sometimes in stock on the showroom floor, if not there is nobody around to ask if they are in stock. Next prices are not often updated, some prices are comparable with amazon.it and some have a huge 30% markup, no consistency with prices. Look at Curry's in UK and you can see how an electronics shop should he run. It's just that Mediaworld currently have no competition in Italia that allows them to run out of date marketing and poor showrooms and poor pricing. More and more they will lose trade to Amazon as it becomes more...
