Our best dining experience in our 2 week trip across Florence, Tuscany & Cinque Terre — it was Radici! We also loved Miky’s other restaurant - Cantina di Miky - but Radici is in a league of its own. Most ingredients are grown and sourced locally on the property - farm to table. The environment is gorgeous and peaceful. The service is top notch! They surprise you at every new dish with a treat compliments of the chef, and they explain to you where they sourced every ingredient from. The food, the service, the atmosphere, the branding, the beautiful interior design, and the warmth and generosity of the team there — it’s exceptional. I stayed at Radici by Miky in September. I would not recommend staying here or if you are considering make sure to ask for one of the rooms that is not under the restaurant kitchen. The room I stayed in (1 of 3 rooms at this location which are all under the first floor) is located under the kitchen and it is so loud until midnight every evening. Even noise blocking headphones did not help. Also, unfortunately, management was not willing to provide any sort of discount which is disappointing given the disruption. The hotel/restaurant is 3.5 miles from the main hotel in the mountains and .6 miles from the old town in Monterosso so not very walkable. We went to eat at Miky's new place Radici and had a wonderful evening with stunning views far away from and above the tourist crowds of Monterosso. Top quality ingredients, combined with great feeling and knowledge of tradition and product. Excellent service in a beautiful setting and decorated with taste down to the smallest detail from the table to the furniture and the entire architecture.
