Maggots in food!

Stay far away! Disgusting food and service.

Firstly, most of the food is stored in warm, uncovered conditions with flies all over. The prices are inflated and quality is low.

Secondly, the lady behind the meat counter was very rude and tried to ignore us when we just asked for a cooked chicken. She assisted other people and talked with them while we stand and wait for up to 20min.

The checkout was also very dodgy with the guy sitting on his phone and also trying to ignore us. After paying, we realised he mistakenly charged us €5 for two items which were not labeled on the shelves.

When we got home and opened the chicken, we found maggots in it! Disgusting!

This place should be closed for health related reasons as well as very bad service. Please stay away and do not give your money to...

This is a very small supermarket with relatively high prices and is really just a place for tourists. I'd imagine residents would be grocery shopping in real supermarkets in La Spezia where you have more choice and better prices. I visited a few times over a week and most staff were fine and spoke English however there is one woman who although my bill was 5.36 continued to demand "sette trenta sei" (7.36), she could not speak English and I'd expect she would be doing this to alot of customers and they would cough up the extra after having been...

Personal are not friendly at all and taking more money that it has to be. I wasn’t expecting that, so checked prices later. And it was 5 euro more than it has to be. Another day there was my friend and same story with him, as we checked later. That’s so disgusting. Better run your business clean. Prices are actually higher than other supermarkets too.
