It's a shame we couldn't rate higher than five stars! What a find! Everything from the food, to the owner and the atmosphere was fantastic. We ordered one Margherita pizza and one Salami (which I don't think was on the menu but the kind gentleman made it up for us anyway!) Even threw in a free taster of some cheesy bread to try! Such a welcoming place. One of the best pizzerias in the region. We took them away to eat by the sea and it was perfect! Delicious and amazing value for money. Can't recommend it enough.

To truly embrace the experience of Focaccia, one must travel to its birthplace in Liguria and patron a legit Focacciaria. If traveling on holiday in the Cinque Terre, Il Frantoio is exactly the Focaccia experience you need. From the yeasty aroma of Focaccia that you can smell on the street to the local favorite “Pan Frico” (translated to “Fried Bread”), Il Frantoio will satiate any carbohydrate craving for Italians and tourists alike.

If it wasn’t for the busy understaffed restaurants of Monterosso, we would have walked passed this gem! We wandered into a side street and saw a cooler with water, once inside fresh pesto focaccia was just brought in and it was the absolute BEST THING I’VE EVER PUT IN MY MOUTH IN THIS COUNTRY. Highly recommend. Service was friendly, handsanitiser available at all tables. Also: there was a cat nearby. It was shy 🐈‍⬛

🌟 Tao's Google Restaurant Reviews 🌟 Unexpectedly really good, not a tourist trap. My partner and I saw the amazing reviews for this place and decided to try it out. There was one hard-working lady working the counter, so the orders were taking a bit longer than usual, but it is what it is and I respect her hard work. We tried the pesto and tomato focaccia and the chickpea flour crepe. I was so surprised by how good the pesto was on the focaccia and the crepe. Additionally, the food was so affordable and cheap. We ended up eating by the bench near the chapel next door and that was one of our favorite meals in town.

🍲Food: 5 🧑‍🍳Service: 3 (slow, may need more workers) 🍴Atmosphere: 5 (beautiful...

Buone cose...
