Mae Caa - Bakery Cafe - Cocktails — Restaurant in Monterosso al Mare

Excellent pastries and breakfast (avo toast and yogurt bowl), coffee was delightful too! Eggs were cooked just right and salted nicely, worked perfectly with the toast that was just crunchy enough but not too hard. Everything tasted nice and fresh.

Returned a second day and tried the bruschetta which was tasty, great bacon! The menu items seems to rotate with whatever is fresh as the yogurt bowl had some different fruits just two days later. Awesome!

Service was quick and friendly, goofing with our toddler. Only downside was the flies on the terrace across the street but it was trash...

Absolutely loooooved this place! They do the best scrambled eggs on toast with tomatoes and also with avocado I have ever had, yum! We visited there 3 times during our 6 day stay and will probably do again when revisiting Monterosso. Although there aren't that many tables so it does fill up fast. You can also get fresh orange juice and home made tiramisu. But the highlight for me was their home made panna cotta. You can get it topped with raspberry, caramel or chocolate. Dear MaeCaa team, we are so happy to have discovered your wonderful café. We spent a total of five days in Monterosso and were at your café every day :) Best coffee in town, best banana bread in town, best salad in town, best avocado toast in town, best service in town... Should I go on? We have fond memories and felt very comfortable with you.
