V Lounge Beach — Local services in Rome

Poor service and disrespectful behaviour.

We paid 80€ for a pool daybed and extra pool access ("normal" sunbed with just beach access is 60€). After a few hours we switched to one of the many empty sunbeds near the beach and went to grab some drinks. When we got back they had just taken all our stuff and moved it somewhere. Telling us we cannot lay by the beach because we have a pool bed. Absolutely ridiculous since all the sun beds were empty. Instead of apologizing they were disrespectful. Quote: "Go back to the pool."

Also, the service is extremely bad. Bar stuff is not even motivated enough to give you a simple bottle of water or forward your order to the kitchen without having to remind multiple times.

Meh, was a bit disappointed.

Lovely guy at the entrance was friendly but asked us to pay €60 for 2 sun beds when it was raining and the beach was completely empty (not a single person). We desired to come back next day and he said he has only one big sun bed left €100 and best if we pay a deposit (we obviously didn’t do this) good sales technique though. Tell it’s about to sell out and there is a lot of demand to make people pressured to purchase something. He also said to us to come back same evening, but when we came on the evening to have a few drinks at the bar, when we came beach club was closed for...

Wir sind von Rom-Innenstadt aus für einen Tag zu der V Lounge Beach Club gefahren. Mit der Metro und Straßenbahn sind es ca. 1-1,5 Stunden Fahrt mit einem kurzen Fußweg von 15 Minuten. Man kann sich den gesamten Club kostenlos ansehen und auch den Strandzugang nutzen, um ins Meer zu kommen. Für eine Liege(-Bett) (2 Personen) am Strand zahlt man 50€, möchte man den Pool mit nutzen zahlt man pro Person 10€ optional dazu. Am Pool gibt es auch Liege-Betten, die dann direkt 70€ kosten. Der Preis ist aber definitiv okay, denn es ist mit Abstand der schönste Beach Club in dieser Strandgegend. Das Personal ist super freundlich und Service wird hier groß geschrieben. Essen und Getränke liegen bei €€-€€€. Zu jedem Getränk gibt es kostenlose Snacks wie Chips und Nüsse. Auch das Restaurant auf einer erhöhten Terrasse sah super aus. Es gab frisches Obst und Smoothies, sowie Crêpes frisch zubereitet. Für Kinder und Familien auch geeignet, denn es gibt eine sehr gute Pool-Aufsicht, wie einen Babypool und einen großen Sand-Spielplatz und separatem Volleyballfeld. Soweit erkennbar kann man dort auch kleine Häuschen mieten und mehrere Tage am Stück die eigenen Strand-Utensilien lagern. Für alle die Sand hassen: es gibt genügend Liegen auf sehr gut gepflegtem Rasen. Die Toiletten sind sauber und es gibt genügend Duschen für Füße und Körper. Ein etwas teurerer Spaß, den man sich aber gerne erlaubt, wenn man bei einem Städtetrip auch mal die Meerluft...
