"very good experience" A Vodafone agent at this store (Vodafone Shop Indirizzo: Campo Santa Margherita, 3682/3, 30123 Venice IT) has committed a serious and illegal offense.

The opening line “very good experience” is a fake review and five-star rating done by a Vodafone agent at this store who stole my identity and personal information to do so.

This is my first Google review ever. Please see a screen shot that Google notified me “I” contributed the first review.

On Thursday, November 22, 2023 , in person, I interacted with a Vodafone agent at the Vodafone store in Venice (Vodafone Shop Indirizzo: Campo Santa Margherita, 3682/3, 30123 Venice IT) with the intent to 'top up' my Vodafone account. I provided the account information that I received from Vodafone, to the agent at the store, whose name is Simone. He insisted that my account was not valid. Without my approval, he physically took my phone from me, and installed a new sim card and, in doing so, he assigned a Vodafone plan that I did not approve. The agent, Simone, at this Vodafone store insisted that this is the only plan Vodafone provided. This was not truthful.

However, most importantly, at that time, while in possession of my phone, without my approval, the Vodafone agent, Simone, stole my identity to leave a fraudulent review on Google, in my name. This is an egregious and illegal offense. This amounts to theft of identity by an agent of Vodafone.

Further, the Vodafone agent, Simone, took my original sim card which is still valid and is associated with my identity and passport information.

Identity theft is a serious matter in any case. I was left to feel violated and unsafe due to the illegal actions of this Vodafone agent.

Further, and for Vodafone information, on Monday, November 27, 2023, in person, I went to the Vodafone Store | Rialto (Indirizzo: Fontego dei Tedeschi, Salizzada del, 5540, 30124 Venice IT) for assistance related to the above matter. The staff at Vodafone Store | Rialto stated that this incident did not happen at their store so it was not their responsibility. The staff member at Vodafone Store | Rialto then asked me to leave, and that that I would be charged a fee if I required further assistance from Vodafone staff. This was an inappropriate and inadequate response to such a serious matter.

In summary, my identity has been stolen by a Vodafone agent who has published false information, in my name, publicly on-line. I was then refused service by Vodafone when reporting this matter. Identity theft is a crime and was committed by a Vodafone agent.

I remain concerned about further identity security issues, and the lack of responsibility taken by Vodafone...

If it were possible to give this place a zero, I would. Completely rude customer service. I was a bit wary of buying a TIM SIM card but was talked into it by the not-so-personable man behind the counter. I ended up purchasing 2, one for my Mom's iPhone and another for mine. I was told to wait 2 hours before the SIM card would be activated. Mine worked but my mother's didn't. We went back and the young man yelled at me about it not being his problem - that it was my mom's phone, etc... Just completely obnoxious about the whole thing. I went around the corner to the Vodaphone store and they were very helpful - they went so far as to test the TIM SIM on a different phone. This place was recommended to me by the apartment where I was staying. My guess is that it's a relative because their customer...

The worst shop ever! Very rude and unprofessional seller! He take my money for nothing, and after his "work" my iPhone was working worse than before (the date of review 27th of Sept.)

I edit my review for answer back to a seller (28th of Sept.). First of all, to call me "victim of pauperism" - this is rude and uncorrect (good for you, if you'll remember and understand it), the 2nd, I have an iPhone (8th model) and if you forgot this - it's your problem, not mine; and 3rd, to have good reviewes, wich "speakes for themselves" - mean nothing nowdays, we all know how to ask our friend to get...
