I hate leaving bad reviews but I believe it is important feedback as hopefully they can learn from their mistakes.

The restaurant was fairly quiet when we arrived (saturday 9th march) so we thought we would've been served fairly quickly. Me and my partner ordered bruschetta for starter that was actually very nice but it took over 40 minutes to come. In fact there was a party of 4/5 that came in AFTER us that were served their starters before our singular starter.

I ordered a pizza and my partner ordered a lasagna. My pizza was ok - nothing special but it did the job. My partners lasagne however was awful. It had clearly been frozen and nuked in microwave as it was absolutely piping hot on arrival. It was very dry and didn't have much taste. We brought this to the waiters attention but all they kept saying was "its home made - its home made". I didn't dispute the fact that it was home made but i made the point it was clearly frozen and microwaved. They then admitted that the lasagna was made a "few days ago" as it is "impossible" to make lasagna fresh every day. I do see their point but i do expect when i order food it tastes good and not dry and tasteless.

When I brought this to their attention the staff were all very defensive and quite rude which ruined the atmosphere. Naturally, they did not offer to take it off the bill or offer an alternative as my partner left half of it.

Hopefully they can learn from this feedback...

We liked this restaurant so much, we went twice! The first time was takeout to our VRBNO bc our son was ill, and the 2nd was in person bc the food was so good. We can recommend two specials: mushroom pasta and octopus pasta, and one regular menu item: tagliatelle with pesto. Our daughter appreciated the pesto esp bc she has a peanut allergy, and the pesto is made in house, so she was able to eat it. We were hesitant to go to an English-named restaurant in Venice, but honestly, it was one of our best meals on our trip, the waiters and chef are Italian, and it's in a nice, quiet piazza. The wine list was adequate as...

We had pizza at this restaurant during our visit to Venice. While the food was fine, we were surprised to see an extra €7.50 added to our bill. When we asked about it, we were told it was a “table charge.” However, there was no sign or information provided about this charge at the entrance or on the menu. We understand that service charges can apply in tourist areas, but transparency is important. Unexpected fees without prior notice leave a bad impression. Visitors should be clearly informed about any additional costs beforehand.

We ordered three pasta dishes and one pizza—unfortunately, none met even the most basic expectations. The carbonara was unpleasantly sticky and lacked texture, bordering on mushy. The spinach and ricotta ravioli was undercooked, with the pasta overly firm and the filling poorly blended, leaving an imbalanced taste. Even the pizza failed to redeem the experience. Overall, a disappointing meal that felt like a complete waste of both money and calories. I would strongly advise against dining here.

This was by far one of the best dishes I’ve had in northern Italia. To start off, my sister and I ordered a tortellini which was delicious. It was also at an affordable price. The only reason I give the atmosphere a 4 star is because there was a guy that came up to our seats trying to seek us bracelets. But I give the service a 5 because they kicked him out quickly and were just overall friendly. They also had many option to eat on the menu. I definitely recommend this restaurant.
