I'm confused about what this place is. When I went it looked like a Gelateria but apparently it's a bar ? Anyway my review is about the ice cream.
Perfect place for great, expansive gelato served by moody and rude people... I paid 6,5€ for two flavors (blueberry and lavender + pistachio and mandarin which were both really good) and a "special cone" (with raspberry toppings on the side) that honestly wasn’t even tasty, just too sugary. Plus they wouldn’t even let us use the restroom which...
Read moreAmazing, but difficult. Been there two times, one in the middle of a tourist flood and the second with little people around, the experience was quite different. First time was horrible, you need to wrestle and wait a lot for (in my appreciation) a-bit-smaller version of the plates, with no hope to get a table. Here it was a ‘porridge’ made from what tasted like tapioca powder, flavoured with chocolate. Still thick and very hot but not the real deal. It tasted like chocolate flavoured tapioca pudding heated up (Americans will know what I am talking about). Now I am not sure if hot chocolate is served like this in Venice and else where in Italy it’s different. The drink was fine but did not taste like what I had expected.
No issues...
