会津慶山焼 — Local services in Aizuwakamatsu

My trip included a pottery-making class. The instructor conducted in Japanese but we had our own interpreter. The session was fun and overwhelmed! This was literally my first time with pottery.

Our products will be sent back to Tokyo within 2 months, so can't wait to see the result!

A dishes shop dealt with in Bunke Yamaya of Ouchi inn. I think the feature is the color of tableware. It was rice and pine or something, burning in a kiln and changing the baking time and temperature etc, it was said that a unique color appeared in the tableware. From blue to cherry color to light green, purple. Product is nice but affordable. People who like colored Japanese dishes please drop in. Keizan Yaki is made only at this...

かれこれ15年通わせて戴いている、本当に素晴らしい陶器の数々が、所狭しと美しく陳列されています。釉薬の成せる何とも語り難い色合い・・・心を一瞬で掴まれました。9～18時営業、年中無休とあります。店内入り口には、初めて使用として手に取り易いコーヒーカップや酒器、フリーカップなどが並んでおり、左奥に行くにつれて銘々皿や茶碗、盛り付け皿等と展示。レジ前を通過するとこだわりの皿や茶器の陳列となって先程の出入口になります。わたしは毎回この店内ルートで拝見しています。接客もこちら以上の温かい接客は遭遇したことはありません。伺えばいつも素敵な笑顔で迎えて下さり、とても気持ち良く丁寧な対応。いつ伺っても『次も立ち寄ろう』と思って毎回お気に入りを手に入れております。店舗奥、店舗裏手というのかしら、飯盛山側に🅿️があり3～4台駐車可能です。決して安価ではありませんが、必ず食卓を彩り豊かにし、盛り付けた料理を更に引き立ててくれる、一皿でも趣ある器がこちら慶山焼にはあります。器にご興味ありましたら是非、お邪魔されることをすすめたい、会津の...
