薬王山を山号、積善院を院号、ご本尊を阿弥陀如来とする浄土宗のお寺。 1490年、円誉上人により大物の地に開かれ、1617年の尼崎築城のおり、現在地に移された。山門を入ると、堂々とした本堂が境内狭しと聳え、その脇には1713年建立の耳地蔵さんが祀られていた。1681年に寂誉上人が中興した時の旧本堂のイメージを残して1991年に改築されたものだそうだ。 また、山門には投入堂で有名な三仏寺から頂いたという"凡夫のこころ"という文章がかかっており、山門前でしばらく読ませていただいた。 24/02/29、尼崎の寺町を巡礼した時にお詣りした。静かなお寺だった。
