Irie onsen — Local services in Beppu

Wonderful local onsen! Entrance ¥100, if there is nobody in the reception put the money in the box, onsen stamp as you enter on your right. You need to bring your own shampoos and towel, there is parking with space for 5 cars (the lot a bit further in front of the onsen). Operating hours 06:00-10:00 and 12:00-22:00, from October to March the opening time changes to 07:00. The changing room is connected with the bath so you can see your stuff while bathing. Very cute, nice and clean facilities, small but pleasant with very friendly locals. The tub is small size, square shape in the middle of the room but there is space around it to wash. You can control the water temperature by adding cold water or lifting the wooden pole which controls the hot spring water, probably a local will be doing this for you. If you are washing yourself at the top of the tub be careful not to splash the changing area. Totally recommended, will go back! 別府八湯温泉道で来訪。 鉄輪からバスにて亀川駅で降り、グーグルナビを頼りに来訪。 住宅地に入り、迷いながら行ったので10分ほど歩いたでしょうか？帰りに、実際はもっと短いルートがあることに気がつきました。 川の横のこぢんまりの共同湯。 番台さんはおられず、お金を入れて、温泉スタンプはシール式になってたくさん置いてあったので、１枚いただきスタンプ帳に貼りました。 薄緑色の透明湯。適温でしたが、後から来られた地元の方とおしゃべりしているうちに、のぼせそうになりました。 温泉の保温...

2023年3月訪問した時は 組合員さん以外の利用は禁止でしたが、 200円の入浴料で可能に。 料金箱に入れるシステムです。 温泉道スタンプをされる方は、スタンプは無く、スタンプが紛失するようなので 番台に置いてあるシールをもらいます。 駐車場は、川を渡ったところに専用駐車場があります。 駐車場への入り口は狭いので要注意です。
