Pizza Glee 別府 — Local services in Beppu

I saw this store pop-up recently and was curios about the pizza since the price and sizing of the pizza looked similar to that of Pizza Alto. I went by tonight to buy pizza and was not disappointment.

For 1300 yen I got a medium sized spicy deluxe pizza with 8 slices which was the perfect amount to feed to people. The flavour of the crust, cheese, and sauce were extremely nostalgic and tasted like a local pizza place from the U.S. The crust unlike a lot of other pizza places here in Beppu had an actual unique flavour that evaluated the pizza to something much higher then other places in Beppu. The cheese and sauce were also extremely uniuqe in comparison to everywhere else in Beppu and did not disappoint.

The staff were extremely nice and outgoing which right away made me want to come back again!

We ordered takeaway, and it was very very good pizza. We also got the party pack and cheesy potatoes. Fired chicken was juicy, very tasty. The cheese potatos were flavorful and had a good texture. We got the braised short rib pizza, great flavor, very "juicy" which is how it is described on the menu I believe. Onion rings are great. I have no complaints. Delicious food and very friendly service. There was a wide variety of pizzas, albeit all were a little pricey (¥3000+ for a large). The only other knock is that it's takeout only (it'd be even better with a handful of tables to eat at in and outside).
