What can I say that has not already been mentioned. This spa is located near the Sunabe sea wall area. Thus it has a superb view of the ocean from majority of all the massage rooms. When they open the windows you cannot help but to loose yourself in the tranquility of the sea/area. Reservations can be made via their site or contacting them. Parking can be a little hectic near the sea wall. If you’re not informed of their private parking make sure you ask about this during booking. I might have been lucky an found a vacant parking spot right in front. You can decide to either take the elevator up or walk the stairs—this decision is up to you. When you enter you are asked to remove your outside shoes then place your feet in a warm foot soak. This was very relaxing whilst completing the intake form. To ensure you are served correctly they ask about your body needs/concerns and any known tension areas/spots. You will also be introduced to your masseuse who will then led to your room. Love the communicate provided before your service and during. This ensure you are comfortable and getting the treatment you deserve. Service wasn’t expensive but it’s not ¥3000 either. They do have a promo if you review them you receive a discount. Not sure what that promo entails but this was made of my our free nurture (no promo given/made). Would recommend to others (already have) but the view placed the icing on the...

The view was absolutely beautiful, but unfortunately you can’t enjoy it from the massage bed or afterward while relaxing. I visited on a perfect day, and while the massage itself was good, I found it hard to fully relax because the guest next to me was talking and laughing loudly. I was surprised that no one asked her to lower her voice.
The most disappointing part, however, was at the end when I received my tea. The plate came with a laminated card suggesting tips in increments of 0, 1,000, 2,000, and 3,000 yen. I’ve always admired Japan’s approach to hospitality, where tipping is not expected and excellent service is simply part of the culture. Seeing this shift toward suggested tipping felt disheartening and left me with a bad impression, even though I understand that some guests may...
Read moreThis was our first time at Shanbio and all I could say is, we had the best experience ever! My husband and I booked a couple's massage. The communication was great - they covered everything even parking space and how to get to their location. We were asked what specific area we would like targeted and they really concentrated on those parts even letting us know what needed more working on - we really wish we could've booked more than 60 minutes! This was also the first time in forever that both me and the hubs fell asleep during a session. The room was very relaxing and clean. We loved that the room was not freezing cold, just the right temperature, and the music and scent was so very relaxing. Will definitely come back to Shanbio - for a longer...
