Impressed with this little place. The curb appeal may cause you to pass, but it is only because they do not own all of the store spaces on the lower level and some have closed.
As for the food and the atmosphere of this restaurant, it is a must try place in Sunabe. The veggies were very fresh, the meats well seasoned, and the atmosphere inside and on the rooftop is very inviting. We order the chicken and lamb gyro plates. The chicken was thigh meat and diced up small enough to place onto pitas with tzatziki. The lamb was seasoned well and very tender making it just as easy to eat with the pitas. Flavors were good and quantity of food was good for the price. Salads were all made from vegetables in the peak of their ripeness. Tomatoes were bright reds and juicy, cucumbers were sliced thin and crunchy, and the feta cheese was not over powering for the veggies and really made for a nice and refreshing dinner.
Did I mention the rooftop? It was quiet but spacious and comfortable. Nice view of the sea wall and it makes for a nice gathering place...
Read moreThe best! A few minutes bus ride in the 62 from America Village or northern Ahara beach. Love the food. I tried the falafel pita sandwich, fries, iced tea, Greek salad, and the generous portion of ice cream with the baklava. Very affordable especially for the combo set, generous portions. One lovely gentleman was taking care of making the orders to the highest standards. You can call place orders for pickup. Large rooftop with lots of seating to watch the sunset with your pets, but also has a few tables downstairs for people with aircon. Excellent business to support during these times. Will be back soon! Edit: They have since updated their Menu and prices, so it is a little bit more expensive, but still very delicious and filling. For some reason Google wint let me delete the old menu photos/prices that I posted. Please remember that there is usually only 1 person (the owner) working in the shop so you will have to wait a bit to to place/pickup/get your order but...
Read moreBeen here for lunch , I really wanted to eat some Gyros and I know there aren’t any around this area . He place is very basic and it looks like it has been there for many years now …. So I decided to give it a try and ordered a Lamb Gyro Combo 1700 yen with free refrain for soft drinks …. But unfortunately it was not what I was expecting ….. the lamb was dry , and the Gyro bread was just ok , filled with some tomatoes a basic Tzalsiki sauce and a couple of potatoes … no herbs or pickles or lemon what’s so ever …. The salad was a small bowl with some ice lettuce and some tomatoes with I guess a balsamic reduction for dressing , it was kind of a sad plate …. If you are looking for something really basic this is the place for you , but it’s far from being real...
