The Moana — Hotel in Chatan

I had an amazing stay and would highly recommend! The staff are so friendly and communicate very well in English. They made my stay amazing! I stayed in a double sized room for almost a month as I relocated to Okinawa for work. The bed was very comfortable. The room had a washer/dryer, mini fridge, kitchen sink, hot plate, frying pan, plates, utensils, microwave, and AC/heater. The shower, bathroom sink, and toilet were quality. There was a small table in the corner to eat at, as well as a balcony for two. The internet was sometimes spotty, but it worked for Netflix and emails. It’s near to a San A grocery store and right next to the Sunabe Sea Wall to walk and enjoy the sunset over the ocean!...

Gem of a casual hotel. Located just by the Miyagi/Sunabe beach. Great access to the surf spots at Sunabe, cafes & local eateries particularly the Hamaya Soba two doors down, not far from Onna/Yomitan/Naha too. Decent sized room, with Queen sized bed, shower booth(no bath tub) & adequate amenities. Washing machine & dryer(up to 4kg/run) right by the room entrance, next to a kitchenette with sink+mini fridge. I stayed at The Moana for 2.5 weeks and I couldn't have had a better experience if I tried. The staff was incredible, my room was stunning and bed was more comfortable than the one I have at home! Having to do some remote working the front lounge was the perfect spot to work from! Morning walks for coffee and taking a stroll along the seawall was the perfect way to start my day.
