There was great anticipation for Lalaport and it maybe why it was such a disappointment. It only opened earlier this year and it is already grubby, dirty and some areas in need of repair. It is not well maintained. On my last visit there were broken toilets in 2 different places. The centre wasn't well designed for parents with babies. The changing areas are too narrow and there aren't enough of them. They are always crowded. The nursing rooms are behind automated doors, which in case of an emergency wouldn't be very safe. The food court is long meaning you can't leave your children at a table to order as you can't see them from one end to the other. There is only one small free play area inside, despite 3 floors of hundreds of shops. They do have some great shops and a few play centres you can pay into. Some of the shops have there own little play areas too. They also have some "Saitama firsts" and "Japan firsts" too. There are some unique shops and restaurants. The parking was well designed and is free. There is a free park outside. It is nice to visit once or even a few times, and for a family with older kids or no kids at all, it is great. However, there are a lot better malls for families with...
Read morePerfect place to have a good time with family and kids. I have a small baby under one year old and there aren’t much places where we can go so she would have free space to crawl around. Specifically this Lalaport has a huge kids section with shops and stuff but I was so happy to find a free play corner for babies and small kids. It might be a little crowded on weekends but we always have a chance to play in there and meet other babies with parents. I think it’s great for connecting people and babies have opportunity to socialize. Near by there is also a dog cafe which is open to see from that play corner too. And of course there is a big play area for babies with lots of toys in the payed section as well. Soon my baby will walk and we plan to explore further, I saw outside the shopping mall there is a nice play...
Read moreThis mall is HUGE. If you plan on visiting LaLaPort and want to actually visit each store I HIGHLY recommend you plan on staying for at least three hours.
The mall is very clean, and has everything from household stores, clothes and entertainment. Parking is also ample.
My brother and I only walked around without going into many stores and spent about 2 hours there.
At least I now know where to go if I don’t want to drive all over the place. The collection of stores in one...
