Funabashi Racecourse — Local services in Funabashi

We had such a fun experience at the racecourse! My brother and I went on a Saturday evening around 6pm, right in the middle of the action. We still got to watch five races and even placed some bets. The ladies at the entrance were very kind—they spoke a little English and helped explain how betting works, which made everything much easier and more enjoyable.

There were plenty of food and drink stands, and prices were very reasonable. Most of the seating was indoors and air-conditioned, but there were also outdoor spots if you prefer to be closer to the track. We ended up winning one race and had such a great time overall. Definitely worth visiting if you're looking for something exciting...

船橋競馬場駅から歩いて10分くらい、S1習志野きらっとスプリントを観戦しに初来訪です。 入場料は¥100で再入場も可です。テーマパークのような入口で初っ端からワクワクしました。重賞レース日だからか屋台や大きい空気の遊び場もあり賑わっていました。 地方競馬場は失礼ながら小汚い印象がありましたが、施設は思っていたより綺麗で広かったです。席は無料の席と有料(3000円くらい？)があり、1レース目きっかりくらいに着きましたが、室内の無料席は既にいっぱいでした。外の無料席は涼しくなる夕方頃まではほぼ空きがありでした。 一日中立ち見は辛いので付近のソファ席になんとか座れましたが、重賞日はわりと早い時間でも無料席の確保は難しそうです。 観戦に関しては地方競馬ならではの近距離で馬やレースを観ることができ臨場感がありとても良かったです。食事処もキッチンカーなど含めて数店くらいありましたが、再入場できるので隣にある大型スーパーや付近の飲食店を利用することもできます。 夜になるとイルミネーションや、小さめですがプロジェクションマッピングもあり楽しめました。また、当日は船橋競馬場のマスコットであるキャロッタくんが施設内を周回しており写真撮影もしていただきとても嬉しかったし、いい思い出にもなりました。 お手洗いも清潔感があり数も多く、自動販売機も至る所にあったので、とても暑い日でしたが安心して利用できました。狭めですが、キッズスペースもありました。 また行ける...
