Amu Plaza Kagoshima — Local services in Kagoshima

Big shopping mall with many restaurants. A small supermarket at the basement. The soba restaurant and ramen restaurant at the basement were of very good quality in terms of very good food and service. The other Japanese restaurant which served buffet of local village food of various places of Kyushu with organic grown vegetables were superb as well. Though you could only enjoy the food and drink in 90 minutes, you would surely have enough time to eat. The seasonal sakura cream cake, the strawberry mouse cake, the tangerine jelly and the earl grey cake were the best dessert as they were not very sweet but full of floral or fruity flavor. The Satsuma fish cakes, grilled mackerel, homemade ball-shape beancurb and the iced barley tea...

It was a nice place. You can literally find anything there. It is downtown, Kagoshima. The basement has a great deal of takoyaki and the fifth floor has restaurants with various dishes. The staff was very nice. I asked about a particular store. A s staff (She) came out of the plaza with me and took me to the place far outside the plaza. I was surprised how kind that lady was. There is an Indian restaurant but more like Japanese style food. I was surprised to see Japanese waitresses in Indian restaurants with indian clothes. They could speak English fluently. I took a selfie with her but for her privacy, I am not...

The location is good..that it is located at Kagoshima-chuo...there are two building and there are many kinds of shops e.g. Urban Research, Niko and...on 1/F, Muji,Uniqlo and a supermarket Shiroyama on B1, Restaurants are on 5/F, Tokyu hands on the 4,5,6/F , it is very big and all,kjnds of goods available...Kiddyland and Pokemon Shop are on the 4/F. Bags and shoes e.g Diana and Sac's bar on the ground floor..Godiva is also on the ground floor...there is big sale in Jul...and up to 80%discount for goods...many shops are tax free...the mall is open at 10 am and closed at 9pm....the night view of ferris wheel is...
