I visited the Ashley store in Kobe for the first time in August 2022. I had a wonderful experience just browsing around the shop for a few hours getting an idea of what was available. The manager of the shop, Ms.Tanaka is a wonderful person who is so easy to talk with and is great with customers, letting you look at your own leisure but also, always available if you need help with something.

I decided on an arm chair and sofa. As a tall person, it is sometimes very difficult to find a high enough sofa to comfortably sit on and get up from. There are many good choices for that at Ashley. The arm chair has been delivered already without any problems. The sofa will follow. I live in Oita, Kyushu, so originally, I thought shipping would be very expensive, but I found the price of the furniture and the shipping to be very reasonable.Very happy with my purchase, the very engaging manager and just the fun of walking around the shop! My family moved to Kobe 9 months ago and we have purchased many beautiful items to furnish our new home from the Ashley Kobe furniture store with the help of Ms Motoko Tanaka. She is extremely knowledgeable, very helpful and accommodating every time. Her English is fantastic which was very helpful for our family and when we wanted to buy furniture from Songdream (affiliated furniture store) she helped us as well even though she doesn’t work at that store. Nothing is ever too difficult and her positive personality is a delight. I always go back and will look for Ms Tanaka and would highly recommend her...
