Misasagi Station — Local services in Kyoto

Misasagi station is where the line splits for two different destinations. Be careful and double-check by yourself by listening to the announcement on the train; there’s an English version. Google maps will tell you to remain on board but in my case, I ended up at the wrong destination. The structure of this station is weird indeed, so in order to actually get on the subway you have to walk around the escalator for about 50 meters or so. Worse luck if you're going to Yamashina or Kyoto Station area; you have to climb down two flights of stairs just to get on the subway. I'm sure there was a reason for this, but this is by no means one of the better planned...
