A beautiful and peaceful shrine to contemplate life. If you can visit during Obon, come to the festival (around 16th August) about 6pm and enjoy Taiko drumming, traditional dance, beer, yakisoba. On this date you get to see the temple open and it is beautiful inside. During heavy snow you may not be able to get close to the temple but the snow is cleared...
