Ninjintei — Restaurant in Yuzawa

We had tonkotsu here, and it was very filling. Plenty of rice, pork, and sides such as pickles and miso soup made for a hearty meal.

There was a short wait before being shown to our seat. While we waited, we were given an English menu, and our orders were taken shortly after. This made the time it took between being seated and receiving our meal very short indeed.

Best tonkatsu we’ve had! Ordered two sets and it came with a healthy amount of salad, miso soup, pickled veggies and rice. We also added the soft boiled eggs and radish as sides. Everything was absolutely delicious.

Walked in at 5pm and was luckily able to secure a table during peak snow season. I recommend going earlier (eg 5pm) if possible since restaurants around here get packed quickly after a day...
