I am writing to formally lodge a complaint about the highly unprofessional and unacceptable behavior of a female lifeguard at your Tiger Beach during our stay, and I urge you to provide a thorough explanation and a sincere apology regarding the incident.​ The incident occurred between 18:00 and 18:40 Japan Time on July 2, 2025, at Tiger Beach of your hotel. As paying customers of the hotel, we rented a double lifebuoy to use in the sea. During our time in the water, my daughter accidentally fell into the sea. In the process of pulling her out of the water, we lost track of the lifebuoy. By the time we noticed, it had drifted far away. I tried my best to swim over to retrieve it, but I reached the area limited by the buoys. With seaweed all around my feet, I couldn't get any closer and had to give up.​ Upon reaching the shore, I intended to discuss with the lifeguard to see if any tools could be used to help retrieve the lifebuoy. However, before I could even speak, the female lifeguard spoke to me in an arrogant manner, asking, "Did you buy that?" I replied, "Yes." She pointed to the area near the buoys and said, "Go get it back." I responded, "I just tried, but it's too far; I can't reach it." She sharply, "Then did you buy it? Go get it back." I said, "It's dangerous over there. Can you help me?" She refused, "No, go get it back yourself." I asked, "Is there anyone else besides you who can help me?" She answered, "No." When I asked, "Please tell me how I can get it back," she said, "Swim over yourself."​ By this point, I was already extremely angry. I requested the female lifeguard to call her direct manager so that I could communicate with their supervisor. Instead, she replied, "Well, then you can leave." Eventually, a man who was operating a motorboat during a water activity helped us retrieve the lifebuoy, and my husband politely went to assist him.Is this the standard of your hotel? It's extremely disappointing.
