More Blue — Restaurant in Onna

My husband and I visited at lunch on Tuesday. We were pointed to the bar area due to all tables being occupied. We ordered our food and two beers. Three more groups came in after us and it was nice of the staff to ask if we wanted a table over the bar once the tables were open. We decided to stay at the bar then watched as all three tables that arrived 10-20 mins after us started to get their food while we had not received any food. I asked the staff why we had not received our food and all they said was sorry so we asked.for the check. We were the only white people in the restaurant so not bringing our food may have been on purpose due to our race but I do not know for sure. Super disappointed. If they did not want to serve us then I would have preferred to get the japanese arm cross right when walking up rather than sitting there for over 30 minutes as we waited for food that never came and we watched all the tables that arrived after us being served their...

Amazing experience here. Showed up for dinner without a reservation as soon as they opened and the staff was so helpful and kind. The food and vibe were both excellent, but the service and the employees really shined even more. We had the cold Okinawa soba, cold radish udon, and the Okinawan wagyu steak and rice set, and all were excellent (only got a picture of the soba).
