Dang, I thought I came prepared after seing the review about fishy smell. I was not !!! It smells fish everywhere in the store ! On another note I have never seen as many naked anime women at once in my life than in this shop. At least a third of the area is dedicated to the adult section. Not a whole lot of doujin cds unfortunately. Interesting experience, if the thought of fishy smell mixed with erotic is your thing.

This was hands down the best manga store I was able to find while visiting Sendai. They have tons of Kirara manga, as well as doujin work, and an extensive adult section.

Yeah, eBeans Mall has many more stores, but melonbooks is a much bigger store and has a lot of unique items that the big name stores just don't have. I had a better experience here than I had at Animate in Akihabara in Tokyo, which should say a lot about this store. I will definitely return here if I came back to...

A great selection of new titles to pick from and helpful staff, even if you only speak English. Thankfully, I went on less of a busy day and this location actually had a few new titles I was looking for but couldn't find at the Tokyo location.
