I arrived here totally by chance after my initial choice was full and what a lucky chap I am. The key dish is an offal stew with spring onion and tofu. I think also marrowbone but that does not begin to describe the side dishes and interesting local fruit wine drinks. Our first time trying Japanese nabe, we had the offal nabe lunch set which was nice on a cold day. They didn’t speak English but the staff was very patient, helped us with cooking and used a translator to relay any information we might need. The food was delicious and the service was good. We (2 people) went around 9pm and there was no wait! We ordered the miso motsunabe for 2 and it was delicious; it’s even better with a side of rice. The staff were very friendly and there is an English menu that they will provide for you....

Great choice, the beef viscera is fat and tender, taste good. There are lots of veggies in the pot, it is salty and good to eat with rice. The lunch set has higher cost effect than the dinner.
