Itoshoten Sendai Asaichi — Restaurant in Sendai

We stayed at a hotel just right behind this small restaurant for a couple of days, and every morning and evening, especially late evenings, when we passed by this place, it is always open and there were customers. On our final night in Sendai, we decided we must visit to get a bowl or noodles, only to find out that they don't serve ramen for dinner. In desperation, we ordered only 2 noodle dishes - fried soba and cream udon. The little restaurant is manned by a lady from Nepal, and she could speak excellent English, which made our ordering so much easier. Terrible service. They require you to write your name down before lining up but they only have a sign in Japanese that says this. We lined up 30+ minutes only for us to be told we need to line up again because our names weren’t on the list. For a restaurant in a high traffic area for tourists this was extremely frustrating and the man running the shop was so rude and dismissive. 仙台駅近くの朝市にある こだわりのラーメン屋さん

仙台での朝食 せっかくなので牛丼とか惣菜パンとか ありきたりなものは食べたく無いなあ

って人にはうってつけなお店

聞いたところによると 喜多方ラーメンらしく 朝ラーメンを定着させようと 頑張っておられるらしい

私は大いに賛成です ぜひぜひ頑張っていただきたい

開店から30分オーバーで到着したら 前に4組程の行列があった

並んでから10分くらいで券売機前に立てた 回転率は良さげ

今回頼んだのは 朝ラー（¥500）+カツ丼（¥350）

お腹減ってたし、せっかくなので 宮城県のカツ丼（ソースカツ丼）を 堪能したかったという欲があり このメニューに落ち着いた

ちなみにカツ丼は3種あって ソース、タレ、味噌から選べるよ

注文から5分程度で着丼

朝ラーは魚介と貝系の旨みを感じる ラーメン

麺はツルツルした中太ちぢれ麺 気持ち柔らかめかな？

プルプルしていてこれはこれで良い感じ

カツ丼だけど、なるほど 刻み海苔を塗したご飯の上に じゅわサクなカツを乗せて ソースだばぁした感じ

器は、鰻屋さんについてくる吸い物の 容器と同じくらいの大きさ

ソースのこだわってる感じは高ポイント 旨みのないソースは×だからね

結論から言うと 朝ラーにカツ丼はジャマ

細やかなスープの香りが カツの油やソースの強い味と喧嘩した

あと、個人的な感想なんだけど ラーメンの量は大人しめかな

総合的には良い体験はできたので 良しとします（偉そう）

朝ラーは全国的に流行ってほしいけど 物価の高騰でどこもキツいだろ...
