I visited this barbershop today because I wanted to experience the Japanese art of haircutting. After much consideration, I chose this specific place. It’s not a flashy shop on the main street but rather humbly located in the basement (B1) of a building complex, accessible via an elevator from a side street.

The shop is run by lovely ladies who, with their calm and gentle demeanor, made a great first impression. As a German-Vietnamese living in Berlin, I’m used to a different atmosphere. Here, you even get a private cabin for your haircut – an absolutely upscale experience!

I only gave rough instructions and told my stylist that I fully trusted her skills to handle the rest and the finer details of my desired haircut. My expectations were exceeded multiple times. Not only was the precision of the scissors impressive, but also the attention to detail and care made this simple haircut a truly relaxing experience.

I came here for the first time for a full beard shave and it was a wonderful experience.

I arrived the second time a week later requesting the same person, who was unavailable. Instead I was given someone (young male who had been working there for 1 year) and I had probably the worst shave experience ever. I went to the bathroom to check after and immediately return to ask for him to properly finish the job.
