Located on the 9th floor in the middle of the Harajuku area, the restaurant offers a good view over the street and a side of Harajuku. However, there are only limited spots that do have view looking down the street, so I suggest checking with the restaurant and booking in advance if possible (I was there twice, but walked in both times so can't speak of their booking procedure).
The photos are a tomato-based calabrese and a type of cheese + onion pizza (forgot the name, sorry). I liked my calibrate with the steamed egg plant toppings. They have an earth-oven-looking oven (unsure if it's actually earth) and the baking is just on point.l, although I have to mention that I found both our red and white pizza a little too soggy with the sauce. Overall, the pizza was good and we had a great time.
On a side note, there's chili oil available too so recommend it for your crusts if you are keen to spice up your crust.
We finished our lunch with some dessert. I, as always, got myself a tiramisu and my friend, a red mousse (forgot the name so you get to find out yourself in the venue ;) ). I liked my tiramisu but thought the coffee flavour can be a bit more intense, I found it amusing little bit weak to my taste.
But overall, it's a good place to dine if you feel like going for Italian for your lunch or dinner. Will I go there again? Yes, but I'll make sure to book so I get a window seat for...
Read moreThis place was wonderfully romantic for our last night in Tokyo. Ater all the amazing Japanese cuisine we've had for the past week, we were craving some good old pizza. To our surprise, it was a spacious restaurant up on the 9th floor, trendy ambiance with a loungy feel, playing mellow hiphop. First thing I noticed walking in was the fire roasting oven. It wasn't busy for a Saturday evening and we were seated right away. We ordered the Americano pizza and the US steak which came with fries on a hot skillet. The steak was pretty good but the pizza was delicious. We never would have thought the Japanese could make this good pizza, but as usual they naturally perfect everything. We've had traditional Napolitan pizza in Naples so we know how the real pizza pie should be and this was just as good, if not, dare I say, tastier. The staff were all very kind. Would...
Read moreMe and my friend came to the restaurant cuz we read many good reviews on tiktok abt their signature pizza, so we decided to give it a try. However, we were totally disappointed by their service and the food. We were 2nd in line, but the guy in the cashier let other customers come before us 2,3 times. Until I came to ask him how long do we have to wait, he pretended to check and told us abt 5 mins. And when we stepped in inside, there were many tables available. Maybe becuz we were not Japanese so that’s why he had “not welcome” attitude to us. But we still waited to see whether the food is as good as reviews. But no, there were too normal and even tasted so badly. Except the drink. It was totally bad experience that we’ve ever had. Not worth the money. I don’t highly recommend...
