The shop offers an assortment of second hand kimono, obi, and other kimono accessories. The merchandise is in good condition and the price was very fair. About 2000 to 3000 yen for an obi, yukata, or casual kimono.
The owner is a kind and knowledgeable woman who has studied kimono since she was young. She speaks some English. We also used a translation phone app to fill in the gaps. Over all, we were able to communicate very effectively!
Compared to the average Japanese woman, I’m a little on the tall side (5ft 6inches). However, I was still able to find kimono that fit me! The owner showed me how to identify if a kimono fits me or not. I would recommend anyone who is in Toyama and interested in buying, to check this place out and I guarantee that you will leave with something that you...
