Dormy Inn Toyama — Hotel in Toyama

Hotel||The hotel is new and comfy. The staff could speak good English. There is complementary welcome drink (coffee). There is also a free public onsen, and the hotel offer free noodle at around 9pm. ||||Room||The room size is larger than expected, and very new and clean. There are lots of sockets around the room/bed. There are places to hang your clothes. ||||Location||I took a bus from Kanazawa to Toyama and there is a bus station right outside the hotel. ||It took me around 20mins to walk to the JR Toyama Station. The hotel receptionist did give me some complementary bus ticket from hotel to the JR Station which I did not use as it does not match my schedule. ||||Side issue||I thought the hotel could assist in arranging courier service for my luggage as I was heading to the Alpine route the next day, but in fact the hotel doesn't / no longer provide this service. ||||Overall it has been a pleasant stay....

The hotel was about 15mins walk from Toyama station. It has drop off shuttle bus service from the hotel to station in the morning. The staff service are impeccable. They had a card in our room wished us for our anniversary. Room size is good for japanese room standard. Within the hotel, it has onsen for which separates male and female. Guest can use the washing machines for free, and pay for the dryer 100yen for 20mins. At 9.30pm till 11pm, the restaurant offers free ramen, which is yummy. If you are hungry after 11pm, you can get dormy inn instant noodle from the reception. They also provide pillow selection of your choice, just get it from the reception.
